Here is a list of household items you may have lying around that we can always use.
*Please note: Food donations should not be spoiled or moldy. Minor bruising is acceptable.*
*We are happy to accept used items! Household items need to be in proper working condition.*
Any fresh vegetables and fruits. They especially like apples, grapes, watermelon, pomegranates, strawberries, and blueberries.
Unsalted mixed nuts - all kinds
Garbanzo beans
Unsalted Peanut Butter (no xylitol)
Cheerios and gluten-free oatmeal
Unsweetened applesauce
Unsweetened apple juice
Sugar-free Gatorade
Sugar-free drink mixes
Toilet paper and paper towels
Kitchen sponges
Children's swings
Children's plastic playhouses
Children's plastic cars (the big ones they sit in)
Garden hoses - in good working condition - no holes
Garden hose nozzles
Hose reels
Outdoor/exterior paint in white or beige or any color (half-full cans are great - if anyone has leftover paint in their garage!)
Paintbrushes
Children's paintbrushes
Blank canvases (the chimps love to paint)
Nontoxic paint
Small snack bags
Colored pencils
Long-handled cleaning brushes
Post-it notes
Water bottles to feed animals - like guinea pigs

Items can be left at the front gate anytime. If you are concerned about leaving items, we have volunteers on-site every day from 9 am - 4 pm.
