Suncoast Primate Sanctuary Foundation Inc.
Double the hope
Rebuild Our Primate Sanctuary After the Storms with a Matching Donation.
Blue, a spider monkey, eating a snack.
The Suncoast Primate Sanctuary suffered extensive water and wind damage in the aftermath of the recent devastating hurricanes.
Fortunately, the primates are all safe.
Our all-volunteer staff has been working diligently to make immediate repairs to the infrastructure and equipment. Due to the destructive nature of the storms, we’ll need substantial funding to complete the restoration efforts.
A generous donor has pledged to match every dollar we raise - doubling your impact to restore the sanctuary and keep our animals and caregivers safe during future storms.
This is a unique opportunity to allow us to rebuild our sanctuary and continue providing a safe haven for our primate residents.
Please consider making a donation today.
All donations received by Dec. 31, 2024 will be matched up to $25,000.
For questions regarding the storm repairs and the matching fund, please email Darryl at DVaci@Suncoast-Primate.org.
About us
The Suncoast Primate Sanctuary Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 volunteer-run organization. The Sanctuary provides a home to more than 100 animals, including chimpanzees, orangutans, monkeys, reptiles, tropical birds and more. Whether rescued from private pet ownership, the exotic pet trade, research laboratories, or retired from the film industry, the Sanctuary provides these magnificent animals with a safe haven where they can live with peace and dignity. With help from our community, through financial donations and volunteering, the Sanctuary is able to maintain a special place for primates, educate the public about zoological and environmental issues and provide community service opportunities and educational internships.
